“Union of the Electricity Industry – EURELECTRIC” is the sector association which represents the electricity industry at pan-European level. EURELECTRIC seeks to contribute to the competitiveness of the electricity industry, to provide effective representation for the industry in public affairs, and to promote the role of electricity in the advancement of society.
EURELECTRIC is offering an:
Internship in Regulatory Affairs to be based at its Brussels’ office.
This position is for a fixed period and is aimed to assist the Markets unit in:
- Monitoring EU energy activities in the field of electricity liberalisation and analysing their implications for the Electricity Industry
- Drafting policy positions and reports in particular in relation to retail markets and customer protection
- Organising and coordinating members’ working groups
Requirements and competencies:
- An appropriate university degree (for example energy economics, law or policy or engineering)
- Understanding of EU institutions and policy-making processes
- Fluency in English and another European language
- Excellent writing and oral skills
- Previous internship in the EC institutions is a plus
